For over fifteen years, artrepublic.com has led the way in selling art online. Exclusive originals and limited edition prints from artists including Damien Hirst, Ben Eine and Banksy, ensure the website and Brighton gallery are the go-to places for contemporary art works.
In February 2015, artrepublic.com hired This Is Publicity to help support their social media engagement in the run-up to, and during, a one-off event at Boxpark featuring US street artist Ron English.
We ran a social media competition and promoted Ron’s activity, including the painting of a live mural and a Q&A with VNA Magazine. We heavily promoted the launch event, networking with key influencers and Ron English fans, as well as inviting a handful of London bloggers to the launch event.
Objectives: Increase the artrepublic.com database (email sign ups via the website), social media followers and engagement.
Results: Within a two-week period, artrepublic.com gained nearly 600 new social media followers and over 1000 sign ups. Four bloggers wrote about the event and attended the launch.
